About Dr. Mohsen Rowhani

Mohsen Rowhani founded RowhaniLaw with a clear mission: to help individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration system with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Having personally experienced the immigration journey—from international student to U.S. citizen—Mohsen brings a rare combination of legal expertise and personal insight to every case he handles. He believes every immigrant deserves an attorney who not only knows the law but understands the struggle. Since launching RowhaniLaw, Mohsen has worked with a wide range of clients—from award-winning artists and athletes to researchers, entrepreneurs, and academics—many of whom were navigating the U.S. system for the very first time. His goal is to make the immigration process straightforward, strategic, and accessible—especially for those with extraordinary talent or urgent needs.

Education and Legal Career

Mohsen’s legal background is rooted in academic rigor and practical experience. After completing his Master’s degree in Private Law in Iran, he pursued further legal education in New York, earning an additional LL.M. from Fordham Law School and a Doctorate Degree (J.S.D.) from Cardozo School of Law. Over the years, he has represented clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Labor, and immigration courts across the country. He is known for his thoughtful legal strategies, responsiveness, and deep commitment to each client’s success. Whether preparing an EB-2 NIW petition for a data scientist, advising a visual artist on an O-1 visa, or defending a client in removal proceedings, Mohsen combines legal precision with practical solutions tailored to each case.

While licensed to practice law in both New York and Connecticut, Mohsen focuses exclusively on immigration law, a federal practice area that allows him to represent clients throughout the United States and internationally. He focuses his practice on talent-based and business immigration, regularly handling EB-1, EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW), and O-1 visa matters. He is also highly experienced with employment-based green card processes through PERM, including both EB-2 and EB-3 categories, as well as temporary work visas such as H-1B, H-1B1, L-1, and E-2.

He is particularly dedicated to guiding clients through complex, high-stakes, or time-sensitive immigration matters—whether they are just beginning their journey or facing urgent challenges with their legal status.

When a client trusts me with their case, I don’t take that lightly. I know what’s at stake. Whether they’re trying to build a life here, launch a career, or reunite with family, I work relentlessly to make sure their goals are met—and their story is heard.”
